What is the Neem Tree?
Neem’s biological name is Azadirachta indica. Neem can also be referred to as Nimtree or Indian lilac. Neem has been used for thousands of years to make natural medicines for many different aliments. The Neem plant is revered as a magical herb in Ayurvedic traditions. The Neem tree benefits are commonly extracted from the seeds, leaves and bark. However, the root, flowers and fruit are also used. Neem Oil is also widely used in the cosmetic industry and has multiple benefits. Scientific studies continue to be carried out on different beneficial uses of the Neem plant.
Uses and Applications of Organic Neem Tree Products
Repelling insects: Some cultures use Neem as a natural pesticide. Neem is commonly used in the treatment of Lice infestations and as a Mosquito repellent.
Hair and Scalp Care: Neem can be used to get rid of recurring Dandruff. Boil the Neem leaves until the water turns green; remove from heat to cool. Wash hair, and rinse with the cooled boiled Neem water.
